  1. I have never doubted the fighting ability of the Greeks against the Italians, and their well-organised resistance under German occupation. Both Greece and Yugoslavia (well, those Yugoslavians not on the German side) were important areas that caused the Germans to deploy troops that might otherwise have reinforced different fronts.
    As to affecting the eventual Soviet victory on the Eastern Front, that is unlikely, but the courage of the Greeks has surely never been in question.
