  1. I used to walk past this hotel almost every day, on my way home from work. As you know, it is directly opposite the BBC building, and All Souls Church. It was refurbished extensively less than twenty years ago, and is now owned by a Chinese company. Prices are very high there, with the cheapest room commanding some £400 a night, and the afternoon High Tea costing £50 per person.
