I am always amazed to read that Tussaud’s is still the leading London tourist attraction. In all honesty, I find those waxworks unconvincing, and have always done so. Just me, probably.

Amazes me too. I’ve never liked them. I was more fond of the really dreadful waxworks here on the Island, a building which now houses antiques and bits.
