  1. An interesting and detailed account of the involvement of Gurkhas in the British Army in India. My own father was in charge of both Sikhs and Gurkhas during WW2, and declared them to be, ‘as good as British soldiers.’ This may seem patronising now, but at the time (1941) it was high praise.
