Just read this and found it very moving Sarah. It was interesting that even at the very end of the war, when all was lost, she was still helping soldiers, believing that they would soon be needed to carry on the fighting. It shows how important it was that the Emperor made that famous broadcast, to bring home to the people the reality of defeat.
