  1. I enjoyed this quirky story, of the desire of a leading Nazi to take up residence in St Michael’s Mount. Perhaps the people should have listened to what he was saying at the time more carefully though. In 1937, two years before the war, he was giving some valuable clues to the forthcoming intentions of Germany.
