  1. A long and wordy post, but necessary to show the frantic exchange of communication leading up to the outbreak of hostilities, a few days later. From these, it is easy to see that the war was inevitable, and no amount of last-minute negotiation was going to stop the actions already in motion. Powerful stuff indeed.
